These pods are eurythermal, tolerant to varying degrees of temperature and exist in temperate and tropical waters. So, you can sleep soundly knowing these little guys adapt well to the reef tank.

Another great thing about these critters is that they recover rapidly from heavy predation and are roughly twice as productive as Tisbe and Tigriopus (laying eggs every 4-6 days). Their speedy reproduction and overall hardiness make them receptive to changes in the tank and avoid underpopulation troubles.

Oithona colcarva

These tiny crustaceans are a cyclopoid, like the Apocalypse Pods. Oithona Pods provide value to the reef since they are crucial in transferring nutrients and energy between primary producers like phyto and larger animals like fish.
