Each 16 oz portion of EcoPods contains an ecologically balanced consortium of copepods including Tigriopus, Tisbe, Apocyclops and Oithona. All of our pods are 100% viable to reproduce in marine aquaria, including Oithona.

Ecopods 4 Pack Special Review

I have ordered this special before with positive results, the pods arrived alive and in a good quantity. This order arrived with most of the pods dead, and what little was alive soon died. Normally after two weeks in the tank, my tank bristles with pod life, not this time. I did not see any pods whatsoever. I am not sure I want to order them again. I think the shipping is too slow.

Seems like less pods than one used to get, maybe a 100 or so in each new design jar.

I’ve have bought these a few times. They look less populated than they were in times of past. I also feel that with the four pack, one should get an 8oz of phyto with it. It’s not like you can buy them directly from the online store.

Eco pods

I typically buy one or two of a specific pod but this time bought the 4 jars of eco pods and maybe got as many pods in 4 jars as I normally do in one. Maybe 50 were alive per jar so can’t claim doa.
